Bridging the gap farm workshop in Regina

Canada's Farm Show, one of the country's premier agricultural events, is set to take place from March 18 to 20, 2025, in Regina, Saskatchewan. Presented by Viterra, the event is focused on three key pillars: education, innovation, and collaboration, which continue to guide its mission of supporting the agricultural community.

The show provides an invaluable opportunity for farmers, producers, and industry professionals to learn, connect, and explore the latest innovations in agriculture.

In addition to the main show, Farm Management Canada (FMC) will host the Bridging the Gap Farm Transition Workshop on March 17, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM CST, at the REAL District in Regina.

This workshop is designed to help farm families address farm transition challenges and ensure a successful future for Canada's agriculture industry. You can find more details about the show and workshop on the official website Canada’s Farm Show and the Bridging the Gap Workshop

The workshop offers a unique opportunity for multiple generations of farm families to come together and engage in meaningful conversations about the future of their farm operations. Participants will learn about planning for success, navigating resistance, building a transition team, and effective communication strategies. The workshop also includes a producer panel that shares their transition experiences, offering valuable insights.

Farms of all sizes and commodities are encouraged to attend, as the event fosters an environment for knowledge sharing and networking. With sessions designed to guide farm families through their transition journey, attendees will leave with practical resources and tools to navigate the complexities of farm transition.

By attending the Bridging the Gap Workshop, farm families will gain the support they need to ensure a smooth transition and secure the future of their farms for generations to come.

This video is an essential watch for pork producers who are looking to safeguard their operations against the threats of diseases like foot and mouth disease, classical swine fever, and African swine fever. Why Should Pork Producers Care?
