Saskatchewan RCMP is reminding producers to protect their farms after thieves made off with grain.
A release from the Coronach detachment states thieves stole about 5,000 bushels of grain from storage bins on a farm near Ogema, Sask.
That’s approximately the capacity of the Meridian GrainMax 5000, or the AGI Westeel 1806.
RCMP believe the theft occurred between spring 2024 and this April.
Police have also provided tips for farmers to help keep their properties safe.
One suggestion is to use grain confetti.
