Fendt® 314 Vario® to support NHRA events nationwide

Fendt® has renewed its partnership with the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) for another two years. The company will continue serving as the official tractor of the NHRA, strengthening its presence at national racing events across the United States.

“Fendt®’s ongoing NHRA commitment reflects the continued growth and strength of this partnership and our shared values of performance, precision and reliability,” said Tim Millwood, Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer for AGCO.

“The NHRA community includes thousands of farmers, ranchers and rural business owners who depend on our equipment every day. The partnership allows us to better engage with them about how Fendt®’s machines and technology can make them more profitable and productive and gives more visibility to the brand’s growing presence in North America,” said Millwood.

As part of the agreement, the Fendt® 314 Vario® tractor will be used at all NHRA national events. This versatile and compact tractor will assist with track preparation through the NHRA Safety Safari team. The Safety Safari plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and consistent racing surface for drivers and crews. Reliable track conditions are essential for both safety and performance.

During the 2026 season, Fendt® will also host six major midway displays at NHRA events. These exhibits will feature equipment showcases, interactive experiences, and opportunities for fans to meet local dealers and learn about Fendt® technology. This effort aims to strengthen the company’s growing footprint in North America.

“We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Fendt® as they continue as the Official Tractor of NHRA. Fendt® has been an outstanding partner with NHRA, delivering world-class innovation and performance to the NHRA and our Safety Safari and Competition Department teams,” said Brad Gerber, NHRA Vice President and Chief Development Officer.

“Their reliability plays a huge role in preparing and maintaining a safe and consistent racing surface for our race teams, and we look forward to this partnership continuing to grow,” said Gerber.

In addition, Fendt® will continue sponsoring Florida farmer Anthony Troyer and his Fendt® Top Alcohol Dragster. The car is operated by McPhillips Racing, a highly successful team with multiple national and regional wins. The sponsorship includes updated car branding, track appearances, and customer engagement activities.

This renewed partnership highlights the connection between agriculture and motorsports, demonstrating how performance and precision matter both on the farm and on the racetrack.

Evolution of Beef Cattle Farming

Video: Evolution of Beef Cattle Farming

The Clear Conversations podcast took to the road for a special episode recorded in Nashville during CattleCon, bringing listeners straight into the heart of the cattle industry. Host Tracy Sellers welcomed rancher Steve Wooten of Beatty Canyon Ranch in Colorado for a wide-ranging discussion that blended family history and sustainability, particularly as it relates to the future of beef production.

Sustainability emerged as a central theme of the conversation, a word that Wooten acknowledges can mean very different things depending on who you ask. For him, sustainability starts with the soil. Healthy soil produces healthy grass, which supports efficient cattle capable of producing year after year with minimal external inputs. It’s an approach that equally considers vegetation, animal efficiency, and long-term profitability.

That philosophy aligned naturally with Wooten’s involvement in the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, where he served as a representative for the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association. The roundtable brings together the entire beef supply chain—from producers to retailers—along with universities, NGOs, and allied industries. Its goal is not regulation, Wooten emphasized, but collaboration, shared learning, and continuous improvement.
