Export exchange 2024 sparks new U.S. Agri Business

The Export Exchange 2024 event recently concluded, heralding a new phase of international cooperation in the agricultural sector.

Sponsored by the U.S. Grains Council, Growth Energy, and the Renewable Fuels Association, the event highlighted the value and sustainability of U.S. corn and co-products. "We are incredibly excited to see the impact that this week will have in the coming year as international stakeholders continue to generate new business within the U.S. value chain," remarked Ryan LeGrand, USGC president and CEO.

Post-event, 13 trade teams comprising international industry professionals from China, Mexico, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia will embark on tours across the U.S. The teams will visit key agricultural states including Texas, North Dakota, Missouri, and Louisiana among others, to explore state-of-the-art farming operations and production facilities.

These tours are designed to provide these international trade teams with a deeper understanding of the U.S. agricultural landscape. They will engage in discussions with local suppliers, visit ethanol plants to observe DDGS production, and check out efficient port facilities, all aimed at enhancing their networks and knowledge of U.S. agricultural practices.

This initiative is vital for building lasting relationships and fostering a better understanding among international buyers about the quality and scope of U.S. agricultural products.

Through such interactions, the U.S. aims to solidify its role as a leader in the global agricultural market, boosting exports and expanding its international footprint in the specialty crops sector.
