This digital tool supports how farmers use, maintain, and repair equipment
John Deere has unveiled a new tool for its customers.
Operations Center PRO Service is a comprehensive platform with multiple tools to support equipment use, maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and more.
Customers can access the tools through an annual license starting at US$195 (CAD$269).
The new tool builds off those currently available through Operations Center, and includes new features, like:
- PIN-specific machine content like manuals.
- Software reprogramming
- Machine health insights
- Interactive schematics to look inside electrical systems
"The launch of Operations Center PRO Service is a significant milestone that adds to John Deere's existing tools, and it reaffirms our longstanding commitment to empowering customers to choose how they repair their equipment," Denver Caldwell, vice president of aftermarket & customer support, said in a statement. "Importantly, our development of these tools reaffirms John Deere's support of customer self-repair. We view continuously enhancing self-repair as consistent with our mission to ensure John Deere customers have the best machine ownership experience possible."
PRO Service will replace Deere’s Customer Service ADVISOR, which the company will phase out over the next year.
Customers can also use PRO Service with their local service providers.
Users can grant trusted service providers with access to diagnostic and repair data.
"Our message to our customers is clear," Caldwell said. "Whether you want the support of your professionally trained and trusted John Deere dealer, to work with another local service provider, or to fix your machine yourself, we've created additional capabilities for you to choose the option that best fits your needs."
