With the cancellation of so many trade shows already announced, here is a review of the 2020 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky, where Farms.com spoke with Case IH representatives about new products they were excited to release to farmers in 2020.

Dave Long, Global Product Manager – Soil Management with Case IH, discussed the benefits of the new Case IH Speed-Tiller line. The line includes two models, the 465 Rigid Mounted Model and the 475 High – Speed Disk Model. The 465 model comes in nine different widths, while the Speed-Tiller 475 comes with in three different widths.

Agronomic design is key on these models. It’s ground engaging components is what sets this model apart from its competitors. The front and rear blades are indexed to each other (available in 22” or 24”) and work together to create a uniform seedbed floor. While other units till fields to look smooth on the surface, the Case IH Speed-Tiller creates a smooth seedbed floor which contributes to consistent, accurate seed placement and uninhibited root development.

“We’re super excited about this new entry into our tillage lineup,” said Long. “The Speed-Tiller 465 and 475 offer our customers an agronomic correct, highly productive opportunity to manage residue and create seedbeds.”

The 465 and 475 Speed-Tillers are great for productivity and offer dual season use: in the fall for residue and in the spring for seed bed preparation.
