SymphonyVision | Duo gives farmers the ability to apply chemicals more efficiently, reduce input costs, and achieve more precise, effective weed control across every acre.

Precision Planting is advancing sprayer technology with the introduction of its latest innovation, SymphonyVision | Duo.

The Symphony system began as a PWM (pulse-width modulation) retrofit solution for mechanical nozzle sprayers, allowing growers to enter the precision spraying market. It later evolved into SymphonyVision, which uses camera-based technology to identify weeds and apply targeted treatments.

Now, the newest development—Symphony Vision | Duo—builds on this foundation with added flexibility and efficiency.

The Duo system enhances existing equipment by attaching a secondary nozzle to the current Symphony nozzle body. In addition, a second boom is layered onto the sprayer, which can be constructed from stainless steel or poly materials.

This setup allows operators to run two different spray applications simultaneously, depending on field conditions.

A key feature of Symphony Vision | Duo is its dual-tank system.

One tank carries a residual herbicide, while a secondary auxiliary tank holds a concentrated contact of herbicide.

The system uses an integrated mixer with internal baffles to ensure proper blending when the contact chemical is injected into the spray stream.

As the sprayer moves across the field, it operates with precision by activating only one nozzle at a time. The system applies residual herbicide across the field, then switches to the second nozzle when a weed is identified, delivering a combined application.

This targeted approach reduces overall chemical usage while maintaining effective weed control.

The redesigned injection pump provides real-time performance metrics, allowing operators to monitor application rates and system efficiency.

After application, unused concentrate can be returned to its original container, preserving product and improving operational efficiency.
