New Holland’s innovative 9200 series corn head is designed to offer high harvesting capacity and efficiency.
This latest series includes 8-row, 12-row, and 16-row options, all with a 30-inch configuration to suit various farm sizes and requirements.
Curtis Hillen, cash crop segment lead with New Holland, walked Farms.com through its new updates and offerings on the 9200 series.
The new 12-row 30-inch corn head variant stands out with a large-diameter auger at the rear, which boosts harvesting speed and ensures a constant feed to the combine.
This auger is especially beneficial when paired with CR10 and CR11 combines, maximizing output and reducing field time.
One of the key upgrades in the 9200 series is the lighter-weight row unit.
As corn heads grow larger, it's important to keep their weight in check. The new design helps reduce soil compaction and allows for the use of larger heads without overburdening the machinery.
Another standout feature is the tall corn divider.
Designed for versatility, it can be quickly switched between standing and leaning corn fields and stored directly on the head, saving time and effort during harvest transitions.
The 9200 series also includes an integrated toolbar that allows for a factory-fitted stalk stomper setup with adjustable positions.
Farmers can also benefit from the optional row guidance system. Using a wishbone-style sensor, it integrates seamlessly with the IntelliView 12 display in New Holland's latest model year 2025 combines, offering precise navigation through corn rows.
With compatibility extending to older models like the CR8.90 and CR9.90, the 9200 series corn head is a valuable upgrade for both new and existing equipment.
