The United States Farmers and Ranchers Alliance (USFRA), along with farmers, ranchers, the public, and a panel of experts will turn the conversation from the food itself, to the origins of the food when it comes to meat and livestock products.

The discussions will take place during “The Food Dialogues: Dairy Forum; Animal Care and Consumers’ Emerging Expectations” at the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) Dairy Forum, scheduled for Wednesday, January 28 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in Boca Raton, Florida. The event is a purely online, streaming event and anyone interested must register to take part.

"Animal care and welfare is not only an important factor in consumers' purchasing decisions, but it's also of the upmost importance to America's farmers and ranchers, food processors and retailers," said Nancy Kavazanjian, chairperson of USFRA in a press release. "USFRA is excited to partner with IDFA to host a dialogue on this topic that is so important to the U.S. food industry."

Elizabeth Leamy, a journalist with 13 Emmy Awards on her resume, will moderate a panel of industry experts which includes:

Chuck Ahlem, a dairy farmer from Hilmar, California
Dr. Robin R. Ganzert, Ph.D. – President and CEO of the American Humane
Association
