‘Westlock Unlocked’ is comprised of a combined total of 305 acres selling as two Parcels located a quick 12-minute drive northwest of Westlock, Alberta. For over a century, the Lyons’ family have been the stewards of this land. The generational ownership is a testament to the quality of the land and the location of these two Parcels. As the foundation acres of the family’s operation, ‘Westlock Unlocked’ has provided a base for farming and ranching success for the past 107 years, and without question, the same will hold true for the new owners.
‘Westlock Unlocked’ will be unlocked and available for sale on November 13. Parcel 1 is a full quarter with a total of 160 acres, and access can be gained from Range Road 273, which runs the length of the eastern boundary. Parcel 2 is comprised of 145 acres. Situated directly east of Parcel 1 across Range Road 273, there were approximately 127 acres in wheat in 2025. The acreage that is subdivided out of the northwest portion of the quarter is the original Lyons home and is still owned by a family member. There are a few small areas of bush tucked out of the way as well as a sizable dugout on the west side of the quarter near the road; this a great place to fill the sprayer. The Westlock area is known to be an agricultural hub, with auction markets, elevators, large equipment dealers, and a wide array of services positioned to support and maintain local farming operations. Running east/west, the pavement on Hwy 18 can be found 3 miles south of ‘Westlock Unlocked’. The locals refer to the area as Hazel Bluff, with the Westlock Golf & Country Club just a few miles away.
