Brandt Expands Tillage Offering With High-Efficiency Land Roller

Regina, Saskatchewan - Brandt Agricultural Products has expanded its tillage products offering with a series of all-new, high-efficiency land rollers. The new models deliver superior field preparation to maximize combine performance at harvest time, efficiently flattening ground and pushing rocks down to create a smooth, uniform field surface, especially important for low-growing crops like peas, lentils, and soybeans. Brandt’s low-maintenance design is fully configurable with three widths and two drum sizes.

“These units are built end-to-end to deliver unmatched productivity. We offer a choice of 36” or 42”-diameter heavyweight drums with up to 5/8” wall thickness for excellent rock rolling performance and extended drum life,” says Sheldon Gerspacher, Vice President of Sales – Dealer Channel, Brandt Industries, Ltd. “True drum overlap guarantees equal rolling pressure across the entire working width and ensures a consistent, smooth field finish.”

The new units also feature a unique hydraulic floating-hitch system and individual frame-section contouring to maximize in-field flexibility.

To meet the demands of modern farming operations, Brandt developed a rugged, heavy-duty design that delivers superior uptime with features like 2.5” pivot pins with composite bushings and 3” roller drum pins with sealed zero-maintenance bearings, all designed to deliver years of worry-free operation.

With operating costs always an issue, Brandt has included standard features like steel hydraulic lines, a hydraulic wing-latch system, a powder-coat paint and primer finish, and a hydraulic hose management arm with premium hydraulic couplers to extend the life of the tractor connections and reduce maintenance requirements.
Numerous optional features are also available, such as mud scrapers, additional hitch options, and oversized manual or hydraulically pivoting transport wheels for easy switching to field position.

“When all is said and done, these units help deliver increased yields and profitability for the producer,” concludes Gerspacher. ”A smooth, uniform field finish means you can cut closer to the ground, and prevent valuable crop from being left behind.”
