CCGA Recognized as 2024 Manitoba Top Employer

Canadian Canola Growers Association (CCGA) has been recognized as an outstanding Manitoba workplace by Manitoba's Top Employers. Earlier today, the results of the 2024 competition were showcased online and in a special feature in the Winnipeg Free Press.

"Manitoba's Top Employers recognizes the great work of CCGA's employees and the workplace culture that we have shaped to support the needs of our people and our customers," says Rick White, President & CEO at CCGA. "Our employees are the foundation of what we do in serving Canadian farmers, and we are proud to be recognized as an exceptional Manitoba workplace for the fourth time."

To achieve recognition through Manitoba's Top Employer, CCGA was assessed on eight criteria including 1) workplace, 2) work atmosphere, 3) benefits, 4) vacation and time off, 5) employee communications, 6) performance management, 7) training and development, and 8) community involvement.

CCGA's culture is shaped by how employees embrace the association's core values—helping our customers; being involved; being genuine in our communication; being a part of the team; and making a difference.

"These five values define our workplace culture," says Larysa Motruk, Vice-President, Human Resources at CCGA. "They have shaped a culture where people feel heard and supported and foster a strong commitment to making a meaningful difference for our customers."
