CFO's Annual General Meeting set to bring chicken industry together

BURLINGTON, ON – Chicken Farmers of Ontario (CFO) is pleased to once again host the CFO Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 26, 2020, in Mississauga.
 
Each year, the CFO AGM brings together over 400 of the Ontario chicken industry’s stakeholders, including many farmer-members from across the province, the processing community and extended value chain, government officials, and academia. CFO is also pleased to welcome fellow provincial chicken Boards from across the country, and Chicken Farmers of Canada.
 
The CFO Board looks forward to welcoming several key speakers as part of a dynamic speaker program line up, which will include:  
 
Chair & CEO address: Ed Benjamins, Chair & Rob Dougans, President & CEO, CFO
Provincial Update from Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission – Interim Chair Valerie Gilvesy 
National Update from Chicken Farmers of Canada – Benoît Fontaine, Chair & Michael Laliberté, Executive Director
Cheryl Firby, Chair, Association of Ontario Chicken Processors
Sarah Andrewes, Senior Vice President, Hill + Knowlton Strategies – Insights into consumers in the 2020s

As in past years, the CFO Board also looks forward to welcoming several new chicken farmer-families into the business at the AGM, as well as furthering our commitment to hunger-relief in Ontario with the CFO Cares: Farmers to Food Banks donation presentation.
 
CFO is pleased to be hosting the annual Women in Leadership breakfast in advance of the AGM. More details on the Women in Leadership initiative can be accessed by CLICKING HERE.
 
The CFO AGM is open to all CFO farmer-members and allied industry stakeholders. The Board is encouraging all farmer-members to come and participate in the AGM proceedings – take part, come out to the meeting!
