Empowering Women In Agriculture

Friday, March 8 is International Women's Day.

Many women working in the agriculture sector from across Canada, and even parts of the United States, are gearing up for the Advancing Women in Agriculture Conference Monday, March 11 to Tuesday, March 12 in downtown Calgary.

Topics being covered include being a leader in agriculture, negotiation techniques and succession planning.

Canada's newly appointed first female Agriculture Minister, Marie-Claude Bibeau, from Quebec will also be making a speech at the conference on Tuesday.
