Grain companies unite to serve farmers better

Three Ontario grain companies have joined forces in a partnership aimed at providing enhanced services to the agricultural community.

The partnership, which includes Great Lakes Grain, Bacres Grain Inc., and Wanstead Farmers Co-operative, is based on the principle of "farmers helping farmers," and leverages each company's unique strengths.

Great Lakes Grain will continue to offer grain marketing opportunities across the province, while Bacres Grain Inc. will focus on operational excellence at the grain elevator. Wanstead Farmers Co-operative will provide full-service grain marketing programs along with precision farming technology, seed, and agronomy services.

This collaboration reflects a significant advancement in the grain industry, emphasizing cooperation and mutual support among farmers.
