Keystone Agricultural Producers' (KAP) President Dan Mazier was on hand at the Legislative Building for Tuesday's Throne Speech.
He said it was nice to see so much attention given to agriculture.
"The biggest thing for the province was the commitment to research in agriculture, through the Canadian Agricultural Partnership that's going to continue on from Growing Forward. A true commitment to that is looking at what research needs to be done looking forward."
