Manitoba Ag Ex Brings Bulls, Sheepdogs, And Cattle

The Manitoba Livestock Expo isn't just about cattle anymore.

While the newly branded Manitoba Ag Ex will still feature cattle shows with over 100 exhibitors and almost 600 head of cattle, it has some new components, like a stock-dog competition. Ag Ex general manager Ron Kristjansson says they'll also have Wheat City Wild Bull riding on Friday.

"It's a Bull Riders Canada sanctioned event," he says. "We've got a lot of the top riders from Bull Riders Canada competing. Brandon's own Landon Lockhart will be there, and we've got Cody Coverchuk, he's one of the top-ranked bull riders and he comes from right next door in Saskatchewan."
