Wolfe pledges support Ontario’s feed mills, grain elevators, crop input centres and agri- businesses
The Ontario Agri Business Association has announced its leadership team for the 2025–26 term following its 26th Annual Meeting held in Mississauga in early December. The meeting brought together members from across Ontario’s crop input, grain, and feed sectors to review progress and plan for the year ahead.
Sandra Wolfe was elected as the new President of the association for 2025–26. She currently works as the wholesale business manager at Sharpe Farm Supplies Ltd. Wolfe first joined the OABA Board in 2020 and has served in several leadership roles, including Treasurer and Vice-President. Her experience across different positions has prepared her to guide the association during the coming year.
“I’m honored to serve as President of OABA for 2025–26. In the year ahead, I’m committed to strengthening member engagement; supporting regulatory compliance; fostering collaboration across our sector; and, enhancing communication and involvement throughout our association."
"Together, we will continue to represent the interests of Ontario’s feed mills, grain elevators, crop input centres and affiliated businesses. By working together and staying involved, we can continue to advance the broader interests of Ontario’s agri-business sector,” said Wolfe.
The association also welcomed Scott Krakar from London Agricultural Commodities as a newly elected Board member. In addition, several experienced leaders were re-elected to serve new three-year terms. These include Martin Kiefer of Agrico Canada L.P., Don Kabbes of AGRIS Co-operative, Joanne Caputo of Sylvite, and Trudy McGovern of Richardson International.
The OABA Executive Committee for 2025–26 includes Sandra Wolfe as President, Don Kabbes as Vice-President, Kevin Weppler of Agribution Canada Ltd. as Treasurer, and Martin Kiefer as Past-President. This team will help guide the association’s strategic direction and ongoing activities.
Section Committee Chairs were also confirmed for the new term. Jeff Robinson of Woodrill Ltd. will lead the Grain Section Committee, Kaitlin Worden-Collins of Agrico Canada L.P. will chair the Crop Inputs Committee, and David Trott of Wallenstein Feed and Farm Supply Ltd. will oversee the Feed Section Committee.
Several other Board members will continue their terms, ensuring stability and strong representation from across Ontario’s agri-business sector. Together, the new leadership team aims to support members, strengthen industry collaboration, and advance the broader interests of Ontario agriculture.
