Pasture Management Field Day

Penn State Extension, Delaware Valley University and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are providing a pasture Management Field Day for an educational field day about pasture management and best management practices for equine facilities.

Pasture Management Field Day

Professionals from Delaware Valley University, Penn State Extension, and the National Resources Conservation Service will be working together to discuss basic techniques and practices for equine owners to incorporate into their own facilities to promote optimal land use and efficiency to allow for the healthiest pastures possible while making sure to also protect the environment. Having healthy pastures allows for optimal nutrient intake by the animals, which saves money and makes for happy, healthy horses and happy owners too.

  • The Market at Del Val is open from 8am-6pm which offers a deli, creamery and other produce for breakfast/lunch

  • Manure Storage

  • There is no fee to attend, bit the hosts ask that you place a reservation to assist the   planning committee in accommodating the guests attending.
