Producer Grading Schools

SaskCanola, SaskBarley, and Sask Wheat are holding a couple of Producer Grading Schools next week.

Grading Schools are set for Tuesday, November 27 in Swift Current and Wednesday, November 28 in Humboldt.

It’s an opportunity for farmers to learn more about degrading factors in wheat, barley and canola.

Representatives from the Canadian Grain Commission will provide grading demonstrations for producers and discuss the impact of degrading factors and proper sampling techniques.

Canadian International Grains Institute technical staff will demonstrate the impacts of degrading factors on end product quality for wheat and explain the quality requirements for Canadian wheat around the world.
