Quality vs Quantity In Setting World Prices

 
Several factors in global markets have led to a massive disparity for local producers searching to get top dollar for their products.
 
Mike Jubinville, with ProFarmer Canada, talks about the premium prices fetched for specific types of wheat, thanks to global markets.
 
"We've seen some premiums associated with high protein, high quality get introduced to the marketplace not only because of the Canadian situation, but globally from the US and Europe, and the former Soviet Union states and such."
 
Quantities of grain production around the globe was a record high, although quality issues plagued many producers.
