Swift Current Ag and Ex Frontier Fall Fair kicks off Saturday

The new Frontier Fall Fair gets underway tomorrow at Kinetic Park, combining the Ranchman's Ridin' and Recitin' event, and a Cultural Extravaganza.

The day features a wide variety of activity with something of interest for everyone from cowboy poetry and cultural events to cattle and heavy horse shows.

Swift Current Ag and Ex Director Grant Scheirlinck says the Junior Stockman's Livestock Show in the Bernie Kemick Arena includes 56 junior kids with 75 head of cattle coming in from across Southwest Saskatchewan and a few from Alberta.

He notes the Heavy Horse Show goes at 10 am in the Magnus Newland Arena and will feature six teams this year, that's followed by the BRC Swift Current Bull Buster Performance at 7 pm with 26 bull riders registered to take part.
