USDA Delivers Over $2.5 Million in On-Farm Stored Commodity Loss Payments to Disaster-Impacted Farmers

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) is issuing over $2.5 million in payments through the On-Farm Stored Commodity Loss Program (OFSCLP) to producers who suffered losses of eligible harvested commodities stored in on-farm structures in 2023 and/or 2024 due to a qualifying natural disaster event.

“Catastrophic natural disaster events in 2023 and 2024 destroyed harvested commodities stored on the farm, preventing farmers from marketing those commodities and adversely impacting their bottom line,” said FSA Administrator Bill Beam. “Through these On-Farm Stored Commodity Loss program payments, USDA is putting Famers First by providing critical economic support that helps sustain America’s farming operations and protects our rural economies.”

OFSCLP is authorized by the American Relief Act, 2025, and administered by the FSA. The OFSCLP application period closed on Jan. 23, 2026.
