CattleCon is the cattle industry’s largest event of the year, and the 2026 event in Nashville, Tennessee, Feb. 3-5, combines business, education and entertainment for thousands of attendees. A highlight of CattleCon 2026 is Cowboy’s Night at the Opry on Thursday, Feb. 5, and features country music favorite Vince Gill. Other performers include The SteelDrivers, The Castellows and Don Schlitz.
Vince Gill combines unequaled musicianship and creativity with a strong sense of tradition, along with a personality that has won him a reputation as one of the nicest people in country music. A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Gill has sold more than 22 million albums while being hailed as a soulful singer, innovative instrumentalist, and creative force who nevertheless shows a strong grasp of country traditions from bluegrass to honky tonk.
The SteelDrivers braid their bluegrass roots with new threads of their own design, bringing together country, soul and other contemporary influences to create new music with an old feeling. Hailing from a cattle farm in Georgia, the sisters who make up The Castellows bring their masterful three-part harmonies for a sound that is traditional, yet modern. Don Schlitz is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and is among the most influential and beloved songwriters in the history of country music, writing chart-topping songs such as “The Gambler.”
