Winnipeg-Based Buhler Industries To Build Bigger Tractors For Kubota

Kubota Corporation has announced its decision to utilize the development and production capabilities of Winnipeg-based Buhler Industries for a new series of tractors.

This new arrangement will enable the addition of tractors in a horsepower range greater than the currently largest M7 170-horsepower line.

"Our in-depth understanding of the realities of Canadian agriculture and the needs of our customers has always been at the core of what we do at Kubota," said Bob Hickey, President of Kubota Canada Ltd. "Today's announcement will allow us to broaden our horizons as our engineers will work with Buhler's employees, in order to develop and produce tractors specific to our local market's needs and tailored for their applications."

New large tractors customized exclusively for Kubota will be introduced to the United States and Canada from the second half of 2019.
