Farms For City Kids is based in Reading, Vermont and helps urban youth explore new learning methods in an outdoor classroom by implementing academics into everyday farm duties. Students help grow sweet corn, peas, and tomatoes while helping care for the animals. The outdoor classroom is located at Spring Brook Farm, spanning over 1,000 aces, containing 42 milking cows along with chickens, pigs and turkeys.
