In May 2018, the North Ridgeville Police Department in Elyria, Ohio received a call from man who claimed he was being followed home by a pig after leaving a train station.
The police investigated, thinking the man was walking home from a bar after having too much to drink. They found was the man walking near the train station and actually being followed by an unwanted pork companion.
The officers loaded the pig (pictured) into a cruiser and returned it to its owner.
