Two European countries have towns named Egg.
In Switzerland, Egg has an area of 14.5 square kilometres (5.6 square miles), almost 60 percent of which is used for agricultural production.
The community has a coat of arms and it’s the birthplace of Hausi Muller, a professor of computer science at the University of Victoria in British Columbia.
In Austria, Egg is home to the Brauerei Egg, a local brewery founded in 1894 by local innkeepers.
And like its Swiss counterpart, the Austrian Egg also has a coat of arms.
