Bayer has announced the launch of newgold seed in Canada, its first multi crop seed brand designed specifically for low carbon intensity crops.
The initiative is aimed at helping farmers directly participate in the expanding market for renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel while enhancing profitability and maintaining operational flexibility.
Developed under the Biofuel Crops by Bayer platform, newgold seed represents a shift from viewing biofuels as a downstream processing opportunity to building an integrated agricultural system that connects farmers, fuel producers, and end markets.
