FCC offers advice to consider before incorporating

Although the incorporation of a farm seems like a great idea, there are factors to consider beforehand to ensure it's the right plan for you.

For those of you who are considering the incorporation of your farm, Farm Credit Canada (FCC) said there are a few things that need to be considered first.

\While incorporating a farm may seem practical and a good business decision, it isn’t in the best interests of all agri-businesses to do so.

According to Lance Stockbrugger, a chartered accountant and farmer in Saskatchewan, farm incorporation has its pros and cons.
