PigCHAMP 5.6.0 update

Upgrades include batch gilt made available and death loss analysis

PigCHAMP has recently released its newest enhancements in version 5.6.0 for both Reproductive and Grow-Finish users. Customers submit a number of suggestions throughout the year and much of that feedback is used to develop and expand on features for the programs.

Some of the highlights from the 5.6.0 release include upgrades such as:

Batch Gilt Made Available - A new data entry event to streamline the process of introducing retained gilts into the herd before breeding.

Female Location to Location Movement - You can now move females in mass by their identity or current location.

Death Loss Analysis - To assist with welfare compliance, you can now record and report on the operator responsible in its own report or in the pig death list.

Current users either have, or will be receiving, an email from the PigCHAMP staff about how to complete the updating process. If you’d like to get an early start, visit the software downloads section of our website where you will find the download instructions and a full list of the new enhancements.
