Unlock USDA contracts - New resources for businesses

Streamlined resources for contracting opportunities

By Farms.com

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is making it easier for businesses to do business with them. They've launched a new website, "Contracting with USDA," that provides information and resources for businesses interested in government contracts.

The website includes frequently asked questions, along with details on how to find and apply for opportunities.

Another new feature is the Vendor Capability Submission Portal. This allows businesses to easily submit information about their capabilities to relevant USDA contracting officers.

Finally, the USDA Procurement Forecast tool has been updated to make searching for opportunities faster and more user-friendly.

These changes are designed to streamline the contracting process and encourage more businesses, especially small businesses, to work with USDA.

In the past year, USDA awarded contracts to over 11,000 businesses across various industries. They aim to continue this trend and give even more small businesses a chance to participate.
