#WeAreFarming Parody Gets Farmers Dancing

By Amanda Brodhagen, Farms.com

Spring is here and farmers are dancing to a new tune.

A farm parody video called “#WeAreFarming” features farmers from around the globe dancing and showing their enthusiasm for agriculture.

The video, by Kansas rancher Derek Klingenberg, is a parody of Pharrell Williams’ song “Happy.”

According to the video’s description, it was published on April 22, 2014 and to date it has over 5,000 views. Derek put out a call to action to farmers on the first day of spring requesting them to send in videos of themselves doing “happy dances” and “felfies” farmer selfies working on the farm.

But this isn’t Derek’s first farm-themed video parody. He is a pro at creating fun relatable agriculture YouTube sensations with the hottest songs trending in the music world. Some of his other notable songs include: “What does the farmer say?” “Feeding Cattle in the USDA” “Ranching Awesome” and more.
