4-H Manitoba Announces New Alumni Program At Ag Days

4-H Manitoba, in partnership with 4-H Canada, has announced the launch of a new alumni program.

The initiative, known as Club 1913, was revealed Tuesday at Manitoba Ag Days in Brandon.

The new online community, which can be accessed at club1913.ca, is available for more than 350,000 4-H alumni across Canada.

4-H Canada was started in Roland, Manitoba in 1913.

“I really enjoy talking and sharing with people who have been in 4-H,” said Carlie Whetter, President of the Manitoba 4-H Council. “Proud 4-H’ers love to share stories and experiences about skills learned, friendships made and how 4-H contributed to their success and provided a positive impact on their lives.”

Manitoba Agriculture Minister Ralph Eichler, who attended the announcement, was also named an honourary 4-H leader for the upcoming year.

Demco's dual auger grain cart is designed for unloading efficiency, operator visibility, and safety in the field.

This dual-auger design features both an unload auger and a floor auger for enhanced grain cleanout and consistent flow, and the 22-inch unload auger is capable of moving up to 600 bushels per minute.

Farmers can also choose between right or left-handed unload options—right-handed unload improves visibility from the tractor cab. A new design allows both vertical and horizontal movement for precise grain placement during unloading.

Another key feature is the built-in fire safety system; a 300-gallon onboard water tank with a hose reel that provides field-ready fire suppression capability.

These dual auger grain carts are available in 1100, 1300, 1500, 1700, and 2200 bushel sizes.
