AGCO Accelerates PTx Dealership Expansion Across North America

DULUTH, Ga. | | AGCO (NYSE: AGCO), a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery and precision ag technology, is making significant progress on growth of its PTx™ dealership network in North America. PTx is composed of Precision Planting®, a leading developer of planting, spraying and harvest retrofit technologies, and PTx Trimble™, AGCO’s newest brand that focuses on guidance and steering, water management and autonomy precision ag solutions. In only one year since the PTx Trimble™ brand was launched, the company has leveraged a channel-based strategy to integrate PTx solutions into over 50 additional Fendt® and Massey Ferguson® dealers across the United States and Canada. Additionally, AGCO’s goal is to equip all of its production agriculture dealerships in North America with the PTx Trimble guidance and steering portfolio by the end of 2025.

A key driver of AGCO’s PTx expansion has been the implementation of its Technology Dealer Strategy, which develops channels within its distribution network that offer complementary product lines from the growing PTx Trimble and Precision Planting solution portfolios. Base Technology dealers will have the opportunity to retrofit multiple brands of equipment with PTx guidance and steering technology. Full Line Precision Ag dealers provide solutions for every season through PTx retrofit technologies from PTx Trimble and Precision Planting for all machinery brands, including advanced solutions for water management and controls for planters, seeders, sprayers and other implements. The approach not only strengthens AGCO’s overall precision ag dealer network, it also ensures farmers have access to the right precision ag tools and expertise throughout the entire crop cycle, regardless of their operation’s scale or complexity.

“Our commitment to precision agriculture has never been stronger,” said Eric Hansotia, AGCO Chairman, President and CEO. “Through the rapid expansion of PTx supported by our dedicated Technology Dealer Strategy, we are equipping our dealers with the tools and expertise to help farmers maximize yields and profitability. The momentum we’re building today will shape the future of farming for years to come.”
