Regina event highlights innovation collaboration and global participation

Canada’s Farm Show 2026, held in Regina, Saskatchewan, earlier in March, successfully brought together farmers, industry leaders, and exhibitors from across Canada and several international markets. The three-day event focused on innovation, collaboration, and growth in the agriculture sector.

The event featured a sold-out tradeshow with more than 300 exhibits and over 5,500 attendees. Increased space and a growing waitlist for exhibitors showed the rising demand and importance of the show. It continues to serve as a key platform for sharing ideas and building strong connections within the agriculture industry.

“Canada’s Farm Show continues to prove why it’s a cornerstone event for agriculture—not just in Saskatchewan, but on the global stage,” said Trent Fraser, Acting President and CEO of the Regina Exhibition Association Ltd. (REAL).

“The strength of our agricultural sector is on full display here, driven by innovation, forward-thinking ideas, and meaningful collaboration. When you bring together leaders, producers, and innovators from around the world, you create an environment where real conversations happen and real progress is made,” said Fraser.

The show welcomed international participants from countries such as the United States and the Dominican Republic, but also as far away as Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Italy, and Australia. This global participation strengthened knowledge exchange and created new business opportunities.

Government leaders also showed strong support for the event. Premier Scott Moe officially opened the show during the Thank You Farmers Breakfast on March 17, emphasizing the importance of Saskatchewan’s agriculture sector to both the provincial and global economy.

Education remained an important part of the event. The Launch Pad, presented by Deloitte, hosted 16 sessions covering key topics like agricultural safety, mental health, artificial intelligence, global markets, and public policy. These sessions helped farmers and industry professionals gain valuable insights.

The event also contributed positively to the local economy by increasing hotel bookings, restaurant visits, and business activity in Regina. Additionally, plans were announced to give the historic Brandtner Murals a permanent home at REAL District.

Planning is already underway for the next Canada’s Farm Show, scheduled for March 16 to 18, 2027.
