Cattle Markets Across Saskatchewan Continue Downward This Week

 
Cattle markets across Saskatchewan were mainly lower during the past week.
 
The weekly cattle market update from the Saskatchewan ministry of Agriculture says feeder steers were down between eight and 15 dollars per hundredweight.
 
Benchmark 500 to 600 pound feeder steers were in a range of 175 to 199 dollars per hundredweight.
 
Feeder heifers were also down, dropping between 2 dollars 59 cents and 7 dollars 75 cents per hundredweight.
 
The heavier weight categories had the biggest declines.
 
Prices for D1, D2 slaughter cows declined 4 dollars 94 cents to average 95 dollars 63 cents per hundredweight.
