Conference To Help Build Out National Beef Strategy

The Canadian Beef Industry Conference is being called the first beef industry event of it’s kind in Canada.

Co-chair Rob Smith says the conference will foster connectivity – one of the four pillars of the National Beef Strategy.

According to Smith, the conference will allow everyone from industry leaders to smaller-scale producers to come together and help grow the industry.

The first conference is being held in Alberta next August.

However, organisers say the intention is to rotate its location in subsequent years.

The Canadian Beef Industry Conference is a collaboration by the Beef Cattle Research Council, Canada Beef, the Canadian Beef Breeds Council and the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association.
