USDA’s Farm Service Agency is currently accepting new and modified CFAP 2 applications. This is designed to provide pandemic assistance to more producers who may have been left out of earlier rounds of aid. For more details go to the UDSA's CFAP website.
 
Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Deadline Extended
 
As a farmer who files a Schedule F you are likely eligible for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), a forgivable loan potentially up to $20,833. The program offers forgivable loans to small business, including farms, that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic so they can continue to pay employees and cover certain other expenses. Several changes have been made to expand farmer eligibility since the program was first introduced in spring 2020. Participants can apply for the loans through eligible lenders.
