USDA Crop Progress Report Released.

USDA released the weekly Crop Progress Report.

Corn: As of Sunday, 74% of corn is rated good to excellent, down 2% on the week, but up 9% from this time last year.

Soybeans: 72% of soybeans are in good to excellent condition, also 2% less than a week ago but 6% more than a year ago. 95% of soybeans are planted, compared to 91% last year and 94% on average, and 90% have emerged, compared to 79% a year ago and 87% on average.

Wheat: 33% of the winter wheat crop is harvested, compared to 19% last year and 31% on average, with 96% headed, compared to 94% on average. 98% of spring wheat has emerged, compared to 95% on average, and 16% has headed, compared to 16% on average. 71% of spring wheat is in good to excellent shape, 1% below a week ago.

Pasture and Rangeland: 55% of U.S. pastures and rangelands are called good to excellent, up 1% from last week.
