On January 5, 2018, the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) published its proposed decision to cancel all uses of quinoxyfen (Quintec® Fungicide). Please find a link to the proposed registration decision

This decision is important to Canadian growers because they rely on Quintec® Fungicide as an important rotational product to prevent resistance development. Quintec® Fungicide provides robust and long lasting protection against powdery mildew on stone fruits, grapes, strawberries, melon, squash, lettuce and hops.
PMRA's consultation open until February 18, 2018
Before making a final registration decision on quinoxyfen, the PMRA will consider any comments received from the public in response to its proposed registration decision PRD2018-01 Quinoxyfen.
