Dow AgroSciences encourages growers and industry stakeholders to participate in the public consultation on PMRA's proposed registration decision of Quinoxyfen (Quintec® Fungicide).

On January 5, 2018, the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) published its proposed decision to cancel all uses of quinoxyfen (Quintec® Fungicide). Please find a link to the proposed registration decision here.

This decision is important to Canadian growers because they rely on Quintec® Fungicide as an important rotational product to prevent resistance development. Quintec® Fungicide provides robust and long lasting protection against powdery mildew on stone fruits, grapes, strawberries, melon, squash, lettuce and hops.

PMRA's consultation open until February 18, 2018

Before making a final registration decision on quinoxyfen, the PMRA will consider any comments received from the public in response to its proposed registration decision PRD2018-01 Quinoxyfen.

Dow AgroSciences is encouraging all farmers and industry stakeholders to submit comments to support the continued registration of Quintec® Fungicide. Comments can be submitted by visiting PMRA's website here before February 18, 2018
