Deere Angle And Pick-up Brooms For Effortless Worksite Cleanup

When it comes to worksite cleanup, especially during the winter, you want to make sure you have the appropriate equipment on hand to stand up to the task. John Deere has a wide array of angle and pick-up brooms to take on just that, and there are several benefits associated with each model.

Let’s take a look at some of the benefits and features of John Deere angle and pick-up brooms, as well as how they can help you with worksite cleanup during the coldest days of winter.

Poly Wire Brush Segments

All brooms feature 50/50 poly wire brush segments, making bristle replacement neat and easy. The drive motor separates from the brush core without the need to disconnect any hydraulic hoses, which also means that there is virtually no possibility of hydraulic-fluid spillage. The heavy-duty, high-torque drive motor is coupled to the brush core through a one-inch splined shaft.

Quik-Tatch

These brooms from John Deere have the universal Quick-Tatch easy attachment system, which allows users to switch from one type of attachment to another in virtually no time. This means less downtime and ultimately more productivity for operators.

32 Inch-Diameter Brush

All angle brooms from Deere feature a 32-inch diameter brush with standard 50/50 poly-wire segments. Operators also have the option of polypropylene brush segments.

Hydraulic Angling

The hydraulic-angling on angle brooms is either 30 degrees to the right or left – this is standard on all of these types of brooms from Deere.

Hood Extension

There is an optional hood extension that can be used to provide 150-degree brush coverage, as well. A rubber deflector prevents snow from blocking back onto the machine during worksite cleanup in the winter months.

Water Tank Kit

An optional 30 gallon roof-mounted water tank kit is available for angle brooms as well that require dust suppression.

Front Caster Wheels

The front caster wheels on brooms allow pickup brooms to follow ground contours. The front bumper on these models also provides extra strength and protection when sweeping close to walls or obstacles.

Adjustable Baffle

Pickup brooms have adjustable baffles, which increase hopper capacity by 22 percent for greater sweeping impact in each pass.
