People were seeing green during an August 16 BigIron auction as many of the top selling items were John Deere equipment.

A 2014 John Deere S680 combine from Newport, Arkansas sold for US$192,250 ($242,981 CAD) to a buyer from Missouri after 292 bids.

A 2014 John Deere S670 combine from Stuttgart, Arkansas sold for US$153,000 ($193,310 CAD) to a buyer from Idaho after 214 bids.

A 2013 John Deere S670 combine from Walnut Ridge, Arkansas sold for US$107,500 ($135,835 CAD) to a buyer from Texas after 199 bids.

A 2015 John Deere W260 self-propelled swather/windrower from Alva, Oklahoma sold for US$106,100 ($134,108 CAD) to a buyer from the same state after 171 bids.

A 2009 Case IH 9120 combine from McLeansboro, Illinois sold for US$85,000 ($107,516 CAD) to a buyer from Michigan after 130 bids.

Historically, the USDA December crop report is a non-event or another dud report as the USDA reserves any final supply changes to the final report in January of the following year in this case 2026.
