NECO Introduces CSA Certified Fans

NECO, an affiliate of AGI, has announced that the company’s line of centrifugal and axial fans recently received CSA certification. The new cCSAus designation comes after extensive testing and approval by the CSA organization, and now means that NECO fans are fully certified and meet all CSA standards in Canada and UL standards in the USA.

According to Dan Faltin, president of NECO, the CSA certification includes NECO centrifugal fans in 3-50 horsepower sizes, and 230, 460 and 575 voltages. The 230V single-phase centrifugal fan is also certified up to 15 horsepower. CSA certification was also received for NECO’s .75 – 15 horsepower axial fans with either single or 3-phase power.

“CSA and UL certification is recognized around the world for its balance, technical superiority and ability to meet the needs of industry, regulators, manufacturers and consumers,” Faltin explained. “Certification offers peace of mind to both our distribution partners and end users because it demonstrates that our products have been independently tested and have met all required standards for quality, safety and performance.”

Additionally, Faltin said that all NECO has a long-established procedures of testing fans in-house for vibration to insure they meet all published specification for capacity, air flow and static pressure.

The newly certified fans are currently in production and available for ordering for a fall delivery.
