Encore: Rodeo returns to Norfolk County

Ram Rodeo to be hosted at Timmermans Ranch for second consecutive year

Bring out your inner cowboy or cowgirl this weekend at the Ram Rodeo in Norfolk County.

For the second year in a row, Mike and Krista Timmermans will host the rodeo, which runs Saturday and Sunday. “We wanted to create an event in Norfolk County that would get families out for a weekend,” says Mike Timmermans, owner of Timmermans Ranch.

Bull riding will be the main event, according to Timmermans. 

Other highlights include a performance by the Jason Maxwell Band and the beer gardens.

For children ages 4 to 12, there will be a kids’ rodeo and sheep scramble both days.

The rodeo is a family-friendly occasion. The schedule of events can be found on the Norfolk Ram Rodeo website.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance and at the gate.

 

Advance tickets:

Adult (13+): $15

Youth (4 – 12 years) and seniors (60+): $10

At the gate:

Adult (13+): $20

Youth (4 – 12 years) and seniors (60+): $15

 

For kids under the age of 3, admission is free.
