Grain Expo Get's Underway Today At CWA

Grain Expo is always a popular event at Canadian Western Agribition.

The two day conference, now into it's eighth year usually attracts around 600 farmers.

Kurtis Kuchinka is the Agribition Committee Director for Grain Expo and says the event covers some key topics that should be of interest for farmers.

“We're going to be talking about soil conservation; we’re talking about some ways to manage marginal farmland. We're going to be getting into of course the dreaded canola markets, transportation, and we're going to be talking about some family farm structure. So, I think there's a pretty diverse amount of topics.”

He notes they should still be able to fit a few more people in if you didn’t have a chance to pre-register.
