Red lentil is an important global commodity for both nutritional and crop rotational purposes, but can it be grown in Alberta? To answer that question, more agronomic information was needed. Robyne Bowness, pulse crop research scientist with Alberta Agriculture, says nitrogen was one area that has been addressed.
