John Deere 5E Tractors on RFD-TV

Tractor lovers of all kinds will be interested in the upcoming RFD-TV Live episode on the industry’s most versatile and rugged utility tractors on the market today. On Monday, May 6, from 7 - 8 p.m. CST, John Deere utility tractor experts Scott Schadler and Rex Edmunds will provide an in-depth look at the heavy-duty, option-rich, easy- and economical-to-operate new 5E Series from John Deere.

New transmission, E-PTO and cab options, plus much more

During the hour-long live John Deere Utility Tractor show, Scott and Rex will provide a sneak peek at the new 3-cylinder, 45-75 horsepower 5E Utility Tractors. That includes a look at the new PowrReverser™ Transmission available on 55, 65 and 75 hp models. With 12 forward and 12 reverse gears, the electrohydraulic transmission makes back and forth chores like loader work and blading a breeze.

For added efficiency, all PowrReverser-equipped models come standard with 540 Economy PTO, which automatically matches the performance of the engine and transmission to maintain ground speed at the lowest RPM. This is a great fuel-saving feature when operating PTO-driven attachments.

And for your enhanced year-round comfort, climate-controlled cabs are now available options for the John Deere 5055, 5065 and 5075 models. No matter what Mother Nature throws your way, you can still get all the work done in a quiet, dry and comfortable environment.

New 4-cylinder 5E Models

This new lineup now offers two models: 85-hp 5085E and 100-hp 5100E – both available in cab or new open station configurations. These new machines feature new IT4 emissions-compliant PowerTech diesel engines, standard PowrReverser Transmission, and fuel-saving 540E Economy PTO.
