John Deere Acquires Fargo-Based Farm Profitability Software Company

John Deere has acquired Harvest Profit, a leading provider of farm profitability software based in Fargo, North Dakota.
 
Harvest Profit, which was founded in 2015, will retain its brand name.
 
The software forecasts and measures profitability on a field-by-field basis for farmers and helps them make management decisions.
 
Financial terms of the agreement are not being made public.
