Wetter Midwest forecasts reduced immediate concern around corn and soybean development, even as August heat and moisture patterns remain important for ear and pod fill. Soybeans received underlying support from reported Chinese purchases, while Black Sea uncertainty and dry spring-wheat areas failed to stop selling in wheat as traders cleared positions before the weekend.
